Single-report privacy notice
Effective October 25, 2026, for the single-report service. This notice supplements the ShingleSuite Privacy Policy for a buyer who checks or purchases a standalone roof report. It does not change an existing monthly subscription agreement.
Information used for this service
We use your account email to send the sign-in link and associate reports with your account. We store the address and optional company name you enter, the prepared USGS roof measurements and source notes, available public NOAA regional storm-history context, report status, preparation dates, your acceptance of the report terms, and Stripe payment identifiers and status. These records let us supply the same prepared report again, check payment and prevent duplicate charges. You do not need to supply a homeowner's name, phone number or email.
Service providers and address location
Supabase hosts the account and report records. Our email provider sends the sign-in link. Stripe handles checkout and card information; we do not store your full card number. The submitted address is sent to Google Maps Address Validation to locate the building. The location is used temporarily to request public USGS LiDAR; this report flow does not store Google's returned address, map coordinates, place ID or raw response. The address saved with the report is the text you supplied. USGS receives the area requested for its public data.
Google's address service is subject to the Google Maps terms and Google Privacy Policy. The single-report flow does not request Google Solar roof data or imagery, Street View photos or ATTOM property records.
When a local public NOAA Storm Events index is available, the transient location is also used on our server to find regional reports near the property. No address or coordinates are sent to NOAA for this lookup. The saved storm-history snapshot records its source, date window and data-through date, without storing the location. Nearby storm reports do not establish damage to the selected roof, and this is not live weather or an alert service.
Access, retention and your choices
Reports are private to the signed-in buyer account. We keep the prepared report and purchase record so you can reopen it without buying it again while your account remains open. Payment providers retain their own records under their policies, and records needed for accounting, disputes or legal obligations may be kept as required. Email support@shinglesuite.com to request access, a correction or deletion; we may verify your identity. Deleting an account can remove access to its reports.
