Installing the estimator on your website
The embed code, WordPress, other site builders, and the direct link.
Where to find your code
Sign in and open Install. You'll see your embed code, your direct link, and a button you can copy. Each one is specific to your business.
Plain HTML
- Open the page's HTML (or your editor's HTML view).
- Paste the embed code where the estimator should appear, inside the <body>.
- Save, publish, and open the page to check it.
WordPress
In the classic editor, paste the code in the Text tab. Some hosts or security plugins remove scripts from pages; if the estimator doesn't appear, link to your direct link from a button instead.
- Edit the page in the block editor.
- Add a Custom HTML block where the estimator should go.
- Paste the embed code into it and click Update (or Publish).
Other site builders
If your builder has a custom HTML or embed block that allows scripts, paste the embed code there. We haven't tested every builder, and some don't run scripts in those blocks.
Your direct link always works: put it behind a button, a menu item, your Google Business Profile, or social posts.
Checking that it's live
Install shows each website the estimator has loaded on, and when. After adding the code, open your page once and reload Install. Some sites hide their address from embedded content; then the check stays empty even though the estimator works, so open your page and look.
